Apple Picking Guide

Cabalo’s – Family run in Kuna, Cabalo’s Orchard has ten acres of pesticide free fruit and vegetables. They take pride in only using natural fertilization for their fruit trees and vegetables. The 2019 season is open now and features zucchini, cucumbers, peppers, grapes, and squash. U-Pick is only open for Gala Apples and Blackberries (limited quantities). They will also open a pumpkin patch through October.

Hours: Friday & Saturday 9:00am – 6:00pm, Sunday 1:00 – 6:00pm. They are closed for farming Monday-Thursday. Located at: 2087 West King Road, Kuna, Idaho 83634


Tyler’s Rocky Point Orchard – Fall season started on Tuesday, August 27th, and is open for U-Pick during daylight hours. Price is $12 per 5 gallon bucket. Fruits include plums, Fuji Apples, and Golden Delicious Apples.

Candy Apple Orchard –  Carol and Burton Briggs open up their orchard for U-Pick in October. Apple trees include Rome Beauties, Red Delicious, and Golden Delicious.

Anderson Apple Ranch – Dave and Shannon Anderson open their ranch in the evenings and on Saturdays in late September through October for U-Pick apples. They also sell pre-picked apples along with apple cheesecake! Check their Facebook page for updated information.

The Farmstead – Know as Idaho’s Original Corn Maze, the Farmstead kicks off their 2019 season at their new  permanent location in Kuna on September 20th! The season runs through October 30th.

This year’s corn maze theme is “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” and is made out of over one-million corn stalks! The image is a nod to the Idaho farms and ranches. The Farmstead also has a mini corn maze, pumpkin patch, food vendors, the Field of Screams, pig races and more.

Special days to keep an eye out for include:

  • Grandparents Day – September 21st: Grandparents receive free admission with the purchase of a grandchild admission (one free grandparent per child).
  • Dog Day – September 27th: Dog lovers are encouraged to bring their fury family members to the Farmstead to participate in a costume contest and more. All dogs must be leashed and social with others.
  • Food Truck Rally – October 11th & 25th: Local food trucks will set up shop along with the Farmstead’s own Tender Lovin’ Chicken food truck. The rally lasts from 4:00-10:00pm on 10/11 and 10/25.

Linder Farms – Just off Linder Road, Linder Farms offers a corn maze, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, food vendors, and several special events. Their season starts on September 20th and ends November 2nd. Visit their website at www.linderfarms.com for detailed information and their event schedule.

Tickets start at a base price for simple farm admission ($5.00 on Fridays & Saturdays, $4.00 on Mondays-Thursdays), then you can pay for add-ons like the corn maze ($4.00-7.00) and tokens to be used towards pumpkins, concessions, and attractions.

Hours are Monday-Thursday 5:00 – 9:00 PM, Friday 5:00 – 10:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

Twin Oaks Farms – Twin Oaks is the only operating farm still in existence on Eagle Road. Their primary crops consist of corn, wheat, potatoes, and pumpkins. Each year they open their farm for the fall and winter season. Twin Oaks is one of the only fall attractions open on Sundays. Halloween Land is open September 20th through October 31st. Activities include a corn maze, pumpkin patch, hay rides, farm animals, and their famous bunny hill! Find more information by visiting their website: www.twinoaksidaho.com

Tickets are $8.00 on Mondays-Thursdays, $11.00 on Fridays-Sundays and include entry to every attraction except for Nyah’s Haunted Woods. Tickets for the haunted attraction are $20.00 and must be purchased separately.

Hours are Monday-Thursday 4:00-9:00pm, Friday 4:00-11:00pm, Saturday 10:00am – 11:00pm, and Sunday 12:00-8:00pm.
