The 55th annual McCall Winter Carnival is a must-see for every Treasure Valley resident. Thousands of people head up to McCall (about 2 hours from Boise) to take in the ice sculptures along with activities such as fireworks over Payette lake, a parade, snow bike race, and more. This year the theme is “It’s a Kid’s World!” The event starts on January 24th and runs through February 2nd. See below for this years schedule and details!
PRO TIP: Be sure to pick up or download a copy of the ice sculpture map. When you enter downtown McCall, you’ll see only a handful of the sculptures on the main drag. Some sculptures reside in obscure places – like the top of Brundage Mountain.
