ADA COUNTY
Existing home prices continue to rise in Ada County and have increased by 5.3% from this time last year.
The average sold price for existing homes (resale) in June was $342,580 compared to $325,258 in 2018. New construction homes in Ada County are following the same trend as the sale of existing homes. However, the average sold price on new homes has only increased by 2.8% from this time last year. The average new home is Ada County is selling for $408,505.
CANYON COUNTY
Canyon County remains one of the most affordable markets in the area, with the average sold price coming in under 250K for existing homes ($230,866 to be exact). New construction in Canyon County remains strong with an increase in average sold price to $292,994 for the month of June. This is a 5.7% difference from June of 2018. Compare that to the average new construction price of $197,657 in 2014 and that’s quite a bit of growth in the rural Treasure Valley!
